（金边讯）柬埔寨参议院主席洪森亲王高度赞赏和感谢美国总统特朗普采取措施打击和消除虚假、造谣、抹黑、煽动混乱等新闻乱象。

洪森亲王于本月17日通过社交媒体发文写道：“我们应该高度赞赏特朗普总统的勇气，带领全球打击假新闻的勇气，他率先针对美国政府资助的媒体机构采取行动。”

亲王接着说：“这是对打击和消除虚假、造谣、抹黑、煽动混乱等新闻乱象的重大贡献，这些都来自特朗普总统停止资助的宣传机器。”

“正如我在 2017 年在菲律宾举行的东盟-美国峰会上对特朗普总统所说的那样，一些国家对美国的不信任也源于美国媒体，它误导这些国家相信这是美国政府的立场。”

洪森亲王还补充说，这些美国资助的媒体机构的少数记者和新闻播音员的行为和言论比国家元首或政府首脑还要傲慢，缺乏美德和道德。

We should highly appreciate President Donald Trump for his courage to lead the world in combating fake news, starting with news outlets funded by the US government.

This is a major contribution to eliminating fake news, disinformation, lies, distortions, incitement, and chaos around the world, coming from the propaganda machine that President Trump has stopped funding.

As I told the ASEAN-US summit in the presence of President Trump in the Philippines in 2017, the lack of trust in the US by some countries also stems from the US media, which misleads those countries into believing that it is the position of the US government.

The behavior and words of a small number of reporters and newscasters on this news network are more arrogant than those of heads of state or government, lacking virtue and ethics.
